教學提昇研討會系列 #1: 特殊教育需要學生支援及個案分析工作坊

目的:

新學年即將開始提升恒大教職員對有特殊教育需要學生的認識學生事務處 (Student Affairs Office) 聯同教與學發展中心 (Centre for Teaching and Learning) 推出特殊教育需要學生支援及個案分析工作坊。是次工作坊理論與實踐並重,您們除探究以實證為本的「傷健共融」支援策略,更以小組形式討論恒大特殊教育需要同學的真實個案, 再由專家分析和提供專業意見。 

內容: (是次工作坊內容與一月的工作坊不同)

    • 了解特殊教育需要(SEN)的類型、常見的跡象和行為; 
    • 分析具有SEN的學生案例研究,並透過小組討論和匯報,探討在課堂上支援SEN學生的實際解決方案; 及 
    • 問答環節

鄭光言先生

美國加州大學洛杉磯分校(UCLA)心理學學士學位香港理工大學應用心理學(特殊學習需要)碩士學位(優異成績)香港大學社會科學(教育心理學)碩士學位

鄭先生曾為私營機構、本地大學的兒童發展中心以及香港主流中小學服務。他對支援自閉症學童的學習和情緒行為有豐富經驗;過往也為有各類特殊學習需要的學前幼兒及學齡學童提供個別、小組和家居訓練;並就學童的發展和學習需要為老師及家長提供專業諮詢服務。鄭先生於本會主要為學前、學齡階段的學童及自閉症青年提供教育心理支援服務。

教學提昇研討會系列 #4: 認識及支援特殊教育需要學生入門工作坊

目的:

香港恒生大學一直秉持「傷健共融」的教育理念,幫助嚴重或多重殘疾的學生克服困難,培育他們達到能力可及的學習水平,展現潛能。

為使恒大教職員更了解特殊教育和融合教育, 學生事務處 (SAO) 再次聯同教與學發展中心 (CTL) 推出支援特殊教育需要學生的工作坊。

本校教職員不但能探究以實證為本的「傷健共融」支援策略,更能適切地照顧有特殊教育需要的學生,促進他們的成長和學習。

內容: (是次工作坊內容與一月的工作坊不同)

    • 釐清對精神病患者的迷思和誤解; 
    • 探索九種不同的特殊學習需要,更重點討論具有輕度精神病症狀(例如抑鬱和焦慮)的個案; 及
    • 患有精神病的學生課堂體驗案例分析。

HSUHK Teaching Excellence Awards (2021/22) Sharing Seminar III – Feedback that Fuels Success: Enhancing Learning through Effective Assessments and Peer Feedback

Assessment and feedback are inextricable components of the learning process, yet providing feedback that is both effective and engaging can prove to be a formidable challenge. To address this challenge, the Centre for Teaching and Learning hosted the third sharing seminar “Feedback that Fuels Success: Enhancing Learning through Effective Assessments and Peer Feedback” on 27 April 2023 where two more winning teachers of the HSUHK Teaching Excellence Awards (2021/22) were recognised: Dr Holly Chung, Senior Lecturer and Dr Maggie Ma, Assistant Professor, both from the Department of English, School of Humanities and Social Science.

Smart Campus, Smart Solutions: HSUHK Innovation Project Competition 2023

Now in its 8th year, the HSUHK Innovation Project Competition 2023 (“the Competition”), organized by the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL), continues to embody its core values by constantly innovating and reaching new heights. This year, we introduced a fresh theme: Smart Campus, inviting students to enhance their campus experience by integrating smart technologies with physical infrastructure for improved services, decision-making, sustainability, and more. On March 30, 2023, the Pitching Competition and Awards Presentation Ceremony concluded, featuring 12 student teams presenting to an esteemed judging panel and winning cash prizes, honors, and the opportunity to bring their innovative ideas to life on the HSUHK campus.

HSUHK Innovation Project Competition 2023 – Workshop Series #2: Knowledge Hub: Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) collaborated with The Institute for Youth Sustainability Leadership (IYSL) to organise an informative and interactive workshop – Knowledge Hub: Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as part of the skill-based workshop series of The HSUHK Innovation Project Competition 2023 on 23 February. The workshop aimed to educate and empower students on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations, providing them with a platform to develop innovative solutions to global challenges. The workshop empowered students to develop innovative solutions to global challenges and showcased the potential of young minds to address the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

HSUHK Innovation Project Competition 2023 – Workshop Series #3: Clarity & Effectiveness: How to Generate a Winning Proposal

To gear our students up for their HSUHK Innovation Competition 2023 (Theme: Smart Campus) proposal, the Teaching and Learning Enhancement Section of the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) invited Ms Sharon TANG, Senior Project Officer, Fullness Social Enterprises Society, to deliver a workshop with the theme “Clarity & Effectiveness: How to Generate a Winning Proposal” on 2 March 2023. The workshop was attended by about 50 students participating in our Innovation Competition and also many others who were here to hone their proposal writing skills to increase their chances of securing investment or business opportunities.
