Implementation of OBE in the delivery of the formal curricula and extra- / co-curricular
The implementation of OBE is realized in the design of the ILOs of the programmes, modules and extra – / co – curricular activities so that:
- ILOs of modules are aligned to ILOs of programmes.
- ILOs of extra- / co- curricular activities are aligned to ILOs of programmes.
- ILOs of modules, ILOs of programmes and ILOs of extra- / co- curricular activities are all aligned with the iGPS of HSUHK.
As illustrated in the diagram below, all HSUHK students will experience a holistic educational experience under this system so that all students can develop the ‘desirable graduate attributes -iGPS’ in a very supportive learning environment.
Through the aligned assessment tasks, evidence of students’ achievement of the learning outcomes of different parts of the curriculum can be collected quantitatively using their scores and / or qualitatively through students’ declaration of their learning experience via reflective reports or interviews.
