HSUHK Innovation Project Competition 2023 – Talk Series #1: Tips and Tricks to Stand Your Proposal Out!

For the eighth time in the Academic Year 2022/23, the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) launched the annual student-oriented event, The HSUHK Innovation Project Competition 2023 (hereafter “the Competition”)! With the strategic partners of the Institute of Youth Sustainability (IYSL) and the Wu Jieh Yee Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (WUCIE), the Competition aims to promote to our HSUHK students a culture of innovation and creativity and to raise the awareness of critical social issues locally or globally.

CTL Teaching-Enhancement Seminar #1: Voice Care Workshop

The Teaching and Learning Enhancement Section of the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) successfully organised the first teaching-enhancement seminar entitled ‘Voice Care Workshop’ in the new academic year of 2022/23. The workshop was hosted by Dr Janet Ng, Senior Clinical Associate, Speech Therapy Unit, Department of Chinese and Bilingual Studies, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

TEDxHSUHK 2022: Our Times

“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times”.

Charles Dickens, in A Tale of Two Cities, could not have penned an even more fitting saying to describe the whole world’s times, since the global pandemic starting in late 2019. However, nothing could have deterred TEDxHSUHK from spreading worthwhile ideas to both the HSUHK and the whole community. In fact, it was exactly against such a challenging backdrop was our 2022 theme nurtured: Our Times.
